installing X11 or X window system in minix3

Hey guys,
I am new to minix. And I have a assignment in my hand in which I have been asked to install X11 in minix3. I have tried to do it but i haven't succeed. So if anyone provide me the steps I should follow to install X11 on my minix that will be helpful. I am running minix on virtual box.
Also when I try to install X11 it says it is already in its newest version but when I type xdm on the command prompt it says command not found.

Does 'xdm' reside in your environment PATH? If not, export the X11 binaries path or start 'xdm' by specifying the absolute path.
